# Use Word, Confluence, and source documentation

> Dunsky documentation for Use Word, Confluence, and source documentation: find model guidance, source references, and the right tools for your work.

Dunsky model pages are the entry point for finding and using model documentation. Word, Confluence, and repository files can remain authoritative sources for different kinds of content during migration.

## Where information belongs

| Content | Recommended home | How to connect it |
| - | - | - |
| Model purpose, methodology, assumptions, limitations | Models section | Summarize or migrate approved Word and Confluence content with source links |
| Input and output definitions | Model guide, backed by versioned schemas | Identify the applicable model version |
| Running models in the browser | Platform section | Link from each applicable model |
| Installation, API contracts, implementation | Development section and repository | Link to the specific package or service |
| Working notes and unresolved design decisions | Confluence | Promote settled guidance into the relevant model page |
| Approved reports and historical methodology | Original Word or PDF document | Preserve the approved original and identify its date and scope |

## Bring in an existing document

1. Identify the model, intended reader, document owner, and version or approval date.
2. Decide whether the document remains authoritative or its content moves into this site.
3. Migrate stable guidance into the relevant page, retaining equations, definitions, units, caveats, and source references.
4. Record the source link and review date. If guidance moved, update the original to point here rather than maintaining two independent copies.
5. Review the English and French pages together when the underlying model changes.

## Model page checklist

Cover purpose, methodology, inputs, outputs, assumptions, limitations, validation, model version, and references. Mark missing material explicitly instead of presenting unverified methodology.
