# Configure model inputs

> Learn how to use the Dunsky Cloud Platform: configure model inputs. Guidance based on the core-app repository.

Input configuration in the Dunsky model runner depends on the selected model. Use the configuration offered for that model rather than assuming that every model accepts the same workbook.

| Model | Entry point |
| - | - |
| DER Potential / DR Potential | Configuration wizard and model configuration |
| EV Fleet | Fleet configuration dialog |
| EV Adoption & Load | Run-type wizard followed by configuration |
| EV Charging / Heat Potential | Input file and model-specific controls |

## Input files

The runner’s file picker accepts `.xlsx`, `.xls`, and `.zip`. This is a file-selection filter, not a guarantee that any workbook or archive has the right model schema. Use inputs prepared for the selected model.

## Heat Potential

Choose **Heat Run Type**: HVAC or DHW. Choose **Sectors**: Residential, Business, or Both. The runner also offers **Buildings only**.

## DER inputs

The DER runner provides **Configure Inputs**. The application includes measures, metrics, CCI, and a measure editor within its configuration routes. Access depends on your account.

Before submitting, check the selected configuration and retain the input version used for your analysis.
